I will use this thread over the next three weeks to keep you informed of the goings on in regard to the Primo Championship.  Ask questions or add comments and suggestions if you like.  You may also contact Carlos at SFCCI as this tournament is a joint venture and the venue will change back and forth from Texas to the Carolinas.  Which is, of course, the hotspots for tournament casting in the U. S.   Yes that's a dig   TAXI........

We are going to use a format more inline with international competitions.  Tommy has first hand experience in that format and he and I will set it up, the details will be posted shortly.

Secondly, I commissioned a local artist to carve a wooden likeness of Primo for the trophy, and that will presented to the championship caster.  I will give you a sneak preview of the trophy, shortly.

Other prizes havebeen secured .

I can be contacted by anyone that wishes to have accomadations in the area.  I have some very favorable rates in the Cherry Grove area, just call me.  I can get you 2 and 3 bedroom condos in a nice resort very reasonable.  However, I do need some notice.  You can go online and visit Tilghman beach and golf resort, that is where you would be staying.  For the deal you need to go through me.

I have spoken with Carlos and we are working out the format details and they will follow shortly.  I have had some input from a couple of casters as well, if you have anything you would like considered, you will need to get in touch with myself or Carlos, pronto!  A format decision is close.

The first format decision is to go with just two leads.  Each of the leads chosen will be cast on a single day.  To clarify, Saturday will be one lead and Sunday the other, conditions will dictate the choice of lead for the day and will be decided Friday practice day.  Right now it appears we will go with the 125 and 150, instead of longest cast we may have an aggregate of the best cast from each day.  These are our discussions.

Going to go with the above format.  You may choose a weight for each day, either 100 and 125 or 125 and 150.  The heavier or lighter lead will be picked on Friday and everyone will throw that lead on Sataurday and the remaining lead will be cast Sunday.  An aggregate of your two best casts, one from each day, will determine the championship.

Hey Wayne!  Looks like we have another prize for the tournament from the one and only Ironman.  He says it weighs 50 lbs so I wonder what it can be?  Tony can NOT win it.

Well, that is if it makes it from my house to the tournament!  :D
