I've been out on the beach a couple of times now and the water is getting right.  The coquina were in bloom this afternoon, lots of them but i've seen no fleas yet.  Whiting are biting and the first pompano always have the coquina in their bellies.  Plenty of that and the water was bearable to wade in.  Just got to take the time now and go.  We got a blow this week but next time the water gets clear, i'm going to get me a deluxe pompano.....

I hear the redfish were hot up on the outer banks already, while we dont have big ones, we have plenty of puppy drum, and they and the black drum should be biting for anyone that tries them now.  In fact the next 60days should be good fishing fun around here.

They have been catching some nice blacks in the Wilmington area.  Won't be long now!!

The quickest way to make a fish grow is to almost catch him.

Tommy - Do you think Tony could find the water if it wasn't foggy?
